Using the finals predicter calculator on the NRL site, I have seen that we can still make the 8 even with a loss to the storm...so long as we beat the cowboys up there in townsville.

Results this weekend have been very good for us....

I hope we get a good roll on and gain our best form through the next month.....anything is possible from here.

Always optomistic !!!

:D :D Cmon Sharks!!!!!!

I did the same thing, means relying on other teams to loose tho. At the moment we control out own destiny, if we win both our remining games, there is no way we will miss out on the 8.

Canberra and Parra could still sneak up from behind if we get beaten. We have to beat the Cowboys, and hope the raiders don't rack up a cricket score against the Bunnies. The way the Tigers are going you'd think they have a good chance of winning both their games.

If only we'd beaten the Eels.

Yeah, round 26 against Souths. They have the bye this week. That won't matter when if beat Melbourne and Nth Qld though.

I wouldnt call it great but I think ssb68 is making the point that if we continue to win, we dont have to worry about anyone else, we will win the gf.

68 is right. The only way we can be sure is to control our own destiny. We seem to grab hold of it from time to time but drop it now and again.

A point was made before the Eels (Reefy was it?) game that we don't tend to win as the favourites.

We'll certainly be the underdogs for every game form now on so that that'll help.

What really p*sses ME off about the Eels game is that winning that game, and the next 2 would likely put us in 6th, with Broncos in 3rd - and I'll be in Brisbane that weekend! #-o

Just a personal rant :(

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Dont even SAY that. Dont even THINK it.

We have to win the next two games. If we cant win those, we dont deserve to be there.

I think it's good that after the shocking game against the Eels, the Sharks still have an opportunity with almost a full strength side to give the fans a victory.

2 games to go and to know that if we win the remaining two we make the finals, that is a great result following the injuries to Peach and Noddy, and the Bird suspensions.

Go the Sharks

In my opinion we need to win both games. Its too risky to rely on other teams losing.

whats more....of all the top four. I rekon the Broncos are the team most likely to faulter when it counts..

I think a loss to the storm will see a very exciting last round, but we will still vbe very much alive if we lose this weekend.

Of course two wins would be ideal, I cant see us missing out on the finals regarldess of what other teams so if we win both games.
