Awful luck began when you guys couldn't put Manly away although it was a far better effort V Souths.

Would have been better if the Sharks had played Easts (from 4th spot) with the run that you recently have had on them.

Don't let the loss bother you.You guys really played out of your skins this year and were the entertaining surprise packet of the year,especially after the dreaded spoon from last season.

I genuinely think we are a realistic chance of winning the comp next year. Barba, Fafita, Bird, Maloney, Townsend, Ennis, Lewis, Graham, Feki, Beale, Valentine, Luteli, Tago, Toops, and Perfect Prior are all excellent players and have upside going into next year.

Gallen, you have your place but I'm sick of people saying how good you are. Tough doesn't necessarily turn into success.

Next year will be swell providing we have a good run with injuries.

Cowboys deserve the win more than we deserved the loss (at least by that margin) and I hope the Cows go all the way.

All things considered, a finals birth was far more than I expected for this season after last years shocker. A turn around that the club, players and fans should be proud of.

Considering our complete lack of a kicking game, 5th tackle options and true strike power this year we did well to even get a mention above 12th on the ladder. We played to our few strengths which is the bash and grind and got this far.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that Maloney will be the saviour next year. He is good and I hope he plays well for Cronulla in '16 but he is playing behind a great pack of forwards and he has Roger Tui master chef running into the back line.

We deserved exactly what we got. We turned up not ready and played like shit and the Cowboys rolled us. f**k me, we've beaten them twice this year. How could we not be ready for a finals match?

I am feeling a strange sense of relief. I knew without the halves we had very little hope, but the team just continued to feed me a little ray of hope some weeks.

As much as I would love to be facing Storm next week at least I won't be stressed to hell all week.

A full off season to let my heart find it's feet again.
