I don't see anything wrong with the name.

That red and yellow logo is truly horrendous. The world sevens logo is heaps better, which makes me wonder why they put up with such a fugly logo. Even worse, that abomination has only Europe and Africa in a barely recognizable shape. I bet more than a handful of people here can come up with a much better logo.

That logo is quite possibly the worst logo I have ever seen.

It looks like someone's 5 year old nephew spent 20 mins mucking about with Windows Paint.

Who chose the colour scheme? What are those lines meant to be? Is it supposed to be laces on a football? Goalposts?

I'm no graphic designer, but I could come up with something infinitely better than that.

I've been thinking for ages that the RLIF should come up with a logo, but if that is what they have come up with they may as well not have bothered. Seriously. This one makes the organisation look like a joke.

i wonder where the nrl came up with that logo coz it aint on the net anywhere. maybe they made it on the day. Im pretty sure the 7s logo is the proper rlif logo. that other thing is like back in the 50s.
coz i have a refs manuel book here which has a international logo in it. it is like the 7s logo but has north and south america and above it it sayz - RUGBY LEAGUE & under it sayz - the greatest international football game of them all. Next to it, it sayz - be part of it!

The Red and Yellow one is from November ths year so I'd say it is the most up to date one. Not the best of logos but I'm sure if it had been around more people would like it.

Heres the logo i found in a book. its nothing offical, but it could be something cause most of the refin books has it in it. even the mini mod rule book has it in it on page 25. click the link to view it.

That yellow and red 'thing' is an embarrassment. Surely the powers that be could commission a more consumer-friendly and strongly identifiable logo.

Not the best of logos but I'm sure if it had been around more people would like it.

Doesn't matter how long it's been around, if it's ugly it's ugly. Those who don't like it would still not like it but may put up with it.

The Red and Yellow one is the original and official RLIF logo, it is on all the RLIF business cards and so on as well. It is a pretty poor logo, and that PDF file from the NRL site only makes it look worse.

I believe it was the one originally designed in 1948 when the RLIF was formed in Bordeaux, France

Thunderstruck. What I meant was that people would not be complaining of such trivialities as the logo appearance if there was a more active RLIF that got out there more.

Anyway, the logo should be changed. The colours aren't that bad. It is fitting that they are PNG colours (the nation that has embraced RL the most). Any logo should include the word "RLIF", depiction of the world, a football and the number "13" or "XIII"

Perhaps a competition should be commissioned?

I think it's fine to have a World Sevens logo, it looks good anyway. But there should be an easily identifiable International RL logo.

Perhaps something that could be unveiled to coincide with the World Sevens, give it a bit of coverage and exposure to the footy going public?
