How different would the game have been if
a) the play that had to go to the video ref because it was that close to being over the line for a try
b) the play we got over the line and got physically dragged back
c) wesser's 0 tackle kick
d) wesser's easy drop ball
e) talanoa's general ineptness

If those 5 points turned out differently we win the game.

Haha Neville, i reckon you can think of another 5 points haha

A question - what value is Gorden Tallis adding to the coaching ranks at Souths? Most teams would like their forward coach to be at the game rather than actually commentating on Fox when the team is playing. Dave Taylor is a shadow of the player he used to be. Sandow did some good things in defence but was also very, very lazy when he misses a player or misreads the play he just stands there and makes no effort to try and chase or make up for his error.

I thought the same thing last night watching the game, Tallis doesn't appear to be adding much. both in coaching and commentary

Agreed Zig.The defence was our best since 2007.Just poor options in attack hurt us badly again.

I realise that he may be struggling, but one can only take the positives over the negatives as he isn't going anywhere soon. I for one reckon Sutton had a handfull of little breaks that in a more "fluid" team would have resulted in a whole lot more metres gained (and possibly break away scores). There has to be somebody better anticipating that sutton is big enough to extend past the first tackle and off-load. Somebody with a bit more pace?

That's where Roberts could come in handy. Wesser was old and slow, Roberts has speed to burn. If he has decent instinct and anticipation skills he'll do damage hanging around Sutton/Taylor/Burgess/Inglis.
