THE Folau clan is not yet lost to rugby league with Parramatta signing Israel Folau's teenage younger brother Eni. As AFL recruit "Air Izzy" began training with the Greater Western Sydney Giants yesterday, the Eels snapped up his sibling.

Eni is expected to play in the under-20s Toyota Cup competition in 2011 while his famous brother cuts his teeth in Aussie rules.

Eni Folau played for Easts Tigers under-18s and under-20s this year.

He is a big-bodied centre/winger, in the mould of his older brother, but not blessed with the same freakish skills according to talent scouts.

They have questioned whether Eni will blossom into an NRL-quality player, but his presence at the Eels could help heal the rift between the Folaus and the 13-man code, should Israel opt to return to the NRL in 2015 once his AFL contract with GWS expires.

Have personally seen him play and he is good. I didn't know who he was till my son who attends and plays for Marsden High told me. Lets hope he doesn't follow in his brother footsteps and ends up with the aerial ping pong code in a few years.

He'll get along well with Mortimer.

I don't think he's even that fast. I'd like to know how many tries he's scored from more than 10 metres from the tryline. Doubt it would be many.
