Feb are trials

Between Mar and Oct 1st weekend is 32 weekends - that pretty much the NRL season

While Dec / Jan is the mandatory 8w break period

That leaves the 6 week period of mid Oct and Nov for internationals

Perfect period for 6 nations series - 5 rounds and a final

Pacific has 6 teams in Top 8 in the world

The Anzac Test on Anzac Day would be epic.

If the Dragons and Roosters can fill Allianz, a test would have no problems filling the stadium.

We had issues with Oz v NZ on ANZAC Day thats why it was stopped
That's not true. The only time Australia v New Zealand has ever been played on ANZAC Day was the Super League Test in 1997 which attracted 23,829.

The closest that's it's ever been played outside of that was 2 days before hand. On average the 'ANZAC match' was played 7.6 days either side of ANZAC Day, with the latest being May 9.

Breakdown of dates and what year matches were played:
April 19 (2013)
April 20 (2007, 2012)
April 21 (2000)
April 22 (2005)
April 23 (1999, 2004)
May 2 (2014)
May 3 (2015)
May 5 (2006, 2017)
May 6 (2011, 2016)
May 7 (2010)
May 8 (2009)
May 9 (2008)

It died because it was being played before any rep games, rather than having a build up and being played after the Origin period

Players were not being selected on current year form, only to outsted a few weeks later
