I agree that had we beaten Manly last week, we would have progressed to the GF. However, we were never really in that game last week.

Manly have a genuine expectation that they will win football games, our team still carries that element of hoping to win.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaatt??? I got smashed about the cranium & dusters for stating something similar to this last week, to which you agreed, that I was a felcher of small, farmyard animals for saying so.

I admit, I'm a dumb kaarnt but f**k me dead, talk about post the same thing for a different reaction a week later. Maybe it's not so raw.

I know we are chasing Fergo, and anything could happen with this.

Go after both Lyon & Williams both off contract, we get them right side of field is fixed, and we cover Toddy at 5/8 if injured

I was thinking exactly the same thing, we came close last week, had Toddy played we would have won it for sure, had Lewie played 5/8 and Peachey been put on the bench etc etc, had a couple of refereeing decisions gone the other way etc etc, Manly were lucky

Disagree, our guys were playing well and gave me the impression that they knew how to deal with semi finals football, the kicking game was dreadful and gave Manly lots of extra metres.

How do you know we are chasing Fergo?

No chance for Lyon. Williams would be great pickup but can't play back row and scores too many tries. Rule him out.

i read 2 threads from you and each thread mention that we buy a winger and move him into the back row...

Have you not been reading other peoples comments.... We have a great forward pack and plenty of depth backs are the problem.... No good or not enough depth...

And if somebody mentions Pom is a good player... seriously ill stop following cronulla and follow St george as are fans are slowing becoming the mongs of the comp...

Get out of in front of the computer and start watching some games..

Hey Webby, do you reckon we could turn ashyford into a decent back rower? Must be why we bought him... I heard we pulled out of chasing the tigers winger (Solomona?) cause he was too small and would never make it as a backrower.
And I think pom would make an excellent lock. He's big and strong and quick, plus he has sublime ball skills. Don't you think?

Fox are reporting Flannos thinking of moving Carney to lock next year.

Apparently they discovered Pom has a kicking game at Mad Monday and they reckon his defence would be handy at 6.
