OK, firstly for all you interstaters coming into town for the first time ... make sure you get some warm wollies to keep warm ... dont go away whinging how cold it was in Canberra ... it's only cold if you are not suitably attired :sto:

The long range forecast for Sat (courtesy of the Weather Channel) is for fine sunny skies with a top of 16 deg ... remember that's in the shade with the sun out ... hope it stays that way otherwise all the softcocks will go to the clubs and watch it there :x

Lets hope the weather gods shine down on us ... I'll keep you guys informed further during the week :D

I thought you were going to say something along the lines of.. 'There was a storm front predicted but now reported to just be a passing shower'

It's going to be an all day affair for us as well ... got a few things to do in the Belconnen area and then we'll be there as the gates are opening

Btw people you'd be advised to ignore our little greek friend

The Weather Channel now has us down for 15 deg and fine on Sat, Sun and Mon ... this follows 13 deg and some showers on Thu and Fri.

f**k I hope they've been reading their charts and baromoters correctly.

Possibly, but dry heat sucks just as much as humid heat... Then again, Penriff isn't exactly equatorial...
