It is possible that a final will serve to shed some of that baggage. Eg:

Monaghan might play for the team rather than spend his time thinking of his next whinge to the media.

Watmough has been pulled in by management and told to pull his head in. On Saturday night's evidence, he has taken heed.

Carl Webb deserves a much harsher suspension than 4 weeks. That was a cheap shot and no worse that Danny Williams. Forget whether his record is as bad as Danny's or not. Carl Webb deserves 8-10 weeks at least. That sort of crap should not be tolerated in our game even if its done by someone with a perfect record.
