Some big games this week

SF @ Seattle, potential NFC title game preview.
The Manning Bowl in NY, Eli is yet to beat his brother.
Bengals v Steelers, very similar set up to last year's game in Cinci where Pittsburgh had their backs to the wall, injuries everywhere, and came away with a victory! Hoorah!
The Rams taking on Atlanta will be out to prove they can compete with the big boys and not just lift for the divisional games.
Can't remember the last time the Browns beat Baltimore, this could be their best chance in a long while.

For mine the upset of the week could be the Browns winning.

Also I'm feeling alright about the Vikings chances at Chicago. Not sure if we can win but I think we'll be better than week 1.

And Marvin Lewis will be reminding the boys of that. I still remember that game, cause I was at the TAB watching it and thought of putting money on the Steelers at half time, cause they were playing well, but having no luck, and I thought it will change eventually. But watching the Bengals play this week, it's a different team. So many options available that it's hard for Dalton to not succeed.

I will be in the US for week 2. Intention is to find a decent sportsbar in LA and watch some games.

Week three will be in Washington. Have tickets for Skins v Lions and I'll be looking for a good bar to watch MNF as well.

amendola hurt... imagine my surprise

eagles have got the chargers at home and the Cowboys are heading to Arrow head, so it's a really good chance for the Eagles to take an early game lead on the division

Vereen out until week 11 for the Pats too, Ridley dropping the ball, it's getting messy over there, unleash the Gronk!

Manning Bowl this week. Good chance for the Broncos to stamp their authority on the AFC West.

Cowboys v Chiefs should be a cracking contest!

Chargers are a worry. Gates is a TE who we could have trouble containing.

Their wide outs will be a good test for the CB rotation with Rivers arm strength as well

Looking at this article and found a few tidbits I like (which also put a bit of pressure on the Bengals to beat the Steelers)

http://www.nfl.com/photoessays/0ap1000000242738/mindblowing-stats-for-week-2-of-2013

Playoff bound

In 2012, three of the 12 teams that reached the playoffs started 2-0: the Houston Texans, Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers. Nine of the 12 teams that reached the playoffs started the season 1-1: the New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, Washington Redskins, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks. Zero of the 12 teams that reached the playoffs started the season 0-2.

All is not lost

All four AFC North teams lost in Week 1. Since division realignment in 2002, all the teams in a division have started 0-1 two other times. In both cases, the division still ended up sending two teams to playoffs - the 2011 NFC South (New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons made playoffs) and the 2002 AFC North (Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns made playoffs).

EDIT: Bought some bengals stuff which arrived today

 I am unconcerned
If Philly keep the foot on the gas for a full 3 qtrs, i dont care what Gates does, they cant outscore us and trying will only lead to Phil Rivers errors

Maybe it is too many years of being a Wests Tigers fan and I am programmed to expect getting pumped by pretty average sides

With Fletcher out, they may go with Curry at CB considering they aren't going to run enough to expose his weakness.

I don't think they can lose at home, so they'll end up losing.

Are the Jets a chance to beat the Pats with Gronk and Amendola both out? The Pats receiving corp is dreadfully thin.
