Leeds defeated Bradford 16 - 8 in the ESL Grand Final.

Fiji A defeated Malta 40 - 24 in the Battle Of The Islands Challenge.

Australia drew with NZ 16 - 16 in the Tri - Nations.

France defeated Russia 58 - 10 at Moscow Olympic Stadium.

Australian Jnr Kangaroos defeated PNG Presidents XIII 52 - 24 in Lae.

Not a bad weekend at all! Good to see International Rugby League is alive and kicking .

Tonight Wales will be taking on Ireland in Aberavon (Wales). Oct 24 will see Singapore's first ever game of Rugby League against the British Police. Also Australia will be taking on NZ in London next weekend. Ahh Rugby League, you gotta love it!

Not to mention that only 8 days ago the West Indies defeated South Africa 50 - 22 at New River Stadium in London.

Yeah the Maltese were robbed of a win

Unfortunately, you get that in rugby league.

However, what goes around...comes around, so hopefully next time the tables will turn in our favour.

The Maltese were a credit to themselves and Malta. They played very well and with there full strength side would have been very close to beating the Fiji A side if not beating them. Everyone who left Melita Stadium walked away knowing they just watched a cracker of a game. The game deserved a bigger crowd though as it was played at a high standard.
