We have a bitter rivalry etc, but Id like to welcome everyone along to ANZ on Monday.

You guys are a bit down and out, but eventually, your fortunes will turn around.

Come and support your struggling side and dead-duck coach.

They need your support now more than ever.

We're the Roosters. We'll always support our boys through good times and bad. I will put my match day shirt on this week like any other and cheer them on.
Good luck to your mob mate.

Id say a lot of the rooster players will be looking to impress their new coach.

No spite or aggro from me to the roosters and their fans from me anyways.

Not my go.

all this good will between us and the scum is making me sick... we all know it would be flipped on its head if the roosters were to win. this lot are friendly when their team is down and out, but they are like a pack of wild dogs when they have you on the ropes.

Well, to be perfectly honest, trash talk isn't a particularly wise idea when
a) we can be shot down with "enjoy the spoon"
2) i don't expect to be able to back it up with a win.

Also, there's the St Merge factor. A lot of Roosters fans on here hate them far more than you lot. Hateful feelings being directed that way.

But fear not, we still hate you.

I will definitely take solace if/when we get the spoon, knowing that in 2 or 3 short weeks the stain will have bombed out of yet another finals series they were tipped to win

Thanks for the hospitality Q, but welcome or not, we'll be lording it up at the 'bush' as always. And regardless of how many we'll have in attendance, AK's 5000 seems optimistic, we'll give you lot the run around.

I don't really do 'hate', but animosity, now that's a different kettle of fish. Between yourselves, the stains, and that outift from the Middle East, it's always a toss up for my (dis)affection.

Sorry to say, but you weren't even on the radar until a couple of years back. You might remember the game, yes that one, the first time you got up on us for eleven years, and didn't you let us know about it. Now it wasn't the football that upset me, far from it, it was the antics of your most feral element after the game...bullying women and kids in the car park, accosting and abusing passer's by...I could go on but you know the score.

Now that's just not on, and you know it. But not surprisingly, and in similar fashion to our friends from Lakemba who thought that Campbell Parade would be a good choice for a GF after party, these 'tough' men melted when met with some opposition.

So bitter rivalry, nah. On the park we've always been your more self-assured, better looking, confident, sauve and sophisticated, bigger brother. Off of it, we're too much for you...despite the spin, this isn't a class issue and you haven't got a monopoly on the support of the 'working man'.

Soufs, the people's team, looks good for the marketing but you've got to ask yourselves, really.

See you on Monday Q...eh!

I couldnt make it, but I am dissapointed you decided to adopt such an aggressive tone and with respect, it hasnt served you that well.

When people invite you to their home ground and show an interest in your club, some graciousness wouldnt be out of order.

Anyway, lets not get lost in the fog. Youse were never a chance.

Whats interesting about the roosters now is who is going to be around next year. Winning games is not to be expected, its about individual performances, juniors and recruitment as you go about re-building.

Thats probably much more interesting than having a side doing a bit better but with no radical changes or same old on the immediate horizon. Thats what I think anyway.

Souths is a much stronger club than the roosters and within 2 or 3 years or so will take its place as the premier club once again.

Which is not to denigrate the roosters or what they are trying to achieve.

"sauve" lol, I liked that very much.

Enjoy the spoon can always be countered with enjoy being the biggest pack of merkins on the planet - or a plain and simple pool cue in the mush - but not with Souths as far as I'm concerned.

When I came to Oz I narrowed my teams to chose from down to Souths and Easts. I chose Easts - but I still have a soft spot for Souths and cheer them whenever they're not playing Easts or unless their result directly effects Easts of course.

As for St George - I'm with you 100% - they're the biggest pack of wankers on the planet. I have no idea why I hate them so much being English and having St George as my patron Saint etc.. but I just do.

All those big game defeats in the 90's I suppose

Every club has its down times.

Points will gather again for the Sydney Roosters.

Dont look back at bad days, always look forward to the better ones.

You'll be going gangbusters in a few years.

Rugby League breaks hearts, thats why we are all hopelessly addicted!
