why don't the NRL have a single go to guy for this sort of stuff.

the AFL employ a guy specifically for this sort of stuff and he does all the big afl games. it's what he does. the bloke has done 2 olympics, does the Aus Open, etc etc.

There must be someone the NRL can find, a professional who practices, has a script, knows his stuff. Voss can do this, he'd be pretty bloody good it might cost 100 - 200k a year but at least it would look and sound professional.

More shame from the (Far)Ken Files from Sunday not already mentioned came with his interview with Shane Mattiske.

It would have been 3 maybe 4 occasions during their chat where Ken brought up "we've signed on to broadcast the NRL for another 5 years but you didn't make it cheap!" or similar. Mattiske basically ignored him but Ken kept prodding for a response.

Just sad. He, even more than Rabs and Rayyyyy, is an absolute relic. He knows about the broadcast deal but sweet fa about the game or it's players it seems. A 9 stooge who somehow got himself on that whucking home of rugby league ad.
