Too many people in this place believe all the bullshit about the conspiracy theory of the 4 tackle rule and the Sharks being set up to destroy us.
Simple fact is I will always have a soft spot for the Bears and Newtown, feel sad about the forced JV's and a healthy hatred of Melbourne and Brisbane and am glad that the Sharks survived all their issues and won the big prize.

Worthy premiers and were the best team all year. New found respect for the Storm as well. The fact they nearly stole it at the end after what the Sharks threw at them was just amazing. I've always hated the Storm, but much respect for them after last night.

As for us, well the Sharks have given us a blueprint. Smart recruitment in the key positions (1, 6, 7 and 9), spine rebuilt in the past 2 years. Look at the skills that Barba, Maloney, Townsend and Ennis bring to the table and this gives us a clue to where its all gone wrong for the Dragons.

Hopefully the talent showcased in Cutters and 20's will give us a clue where to look to replace some of our overpaid, overrated hacks.
