We're EELS fans - I don't call you Wests fans any names. Why? Because I respect the fact that there are 15 equally likeable teams in the NRL, and although personally I hate some of them (Roosters, Bulldogs) I will not resort to insulting their team.

It's a minor issue, but please - we here are Eels fans, and I think I speak for most (if not all of us) when I say we are damn proud of it.

But everyone always bags me out about supporting the Eels.

It's like I'm supposed to be ashamed of it or something.

And I have a few mates who are Tigers fans and others Penno fans and they give me HELL. Penno fans calim they are the best Westies team. Wests fans mates calim they are and the Eels are just 'useless river worms.'

So, in an act of sportsmanship I thought I'd don the Tiger for a week.
