Noticed King just up from me handing out the Tooheys News like they were bottles of water to marathon runners. Honestly how do you blokes get home? Someone must be driving you. Wasn't our prettiest win, but geez it was good to be back at Leichardt on a sunny Sunday arvo with a big crowd. Makes me wonder why we have played games at Telstra and have 1 booked in for NZ. I think had the game been played elswehere we wouldn't have got out of gaol(not talking about Campbelltown either) and before all the smart ones tell me about the money, i realise that, but the best way to make money is to win and be successful.

yeah westie i have to agree with you. Usually the leichardt crowd is noisy and 10,000 seems like 15,000, but apart from once or twice in the match, they were pretty quiet.

In the Telegraph this morning there was a sub paragraph to this story which went into the crowds invovlment more so.Razzle dazzle Tigers

WHEN things went bad for the Wests Tigers yesterday they did not just go pear-shaped, they disintegrated like an egg breaking against a brick wall.
The Tigers were trailing 16-8 midway through the second half against Manly, their key player, half Ben Reynolds had just broken his leg and coach Tim Sheens conceded he was worried.
Then somehow the Tigers produced four dazzling tries in 15 minutes to effortlessly sweep Manly aside for a crucial 30-22 win.
Built upon a quickly expanding self confidence as the points continued to come, the Tigers could do no wrong.
Sheens and the Tigers captain Scott Sattler partly attributed the resurgence to crowd support and renewed focus.
For whatever reason, the Tigers won a game they looked like losing against a Manly side that is never beaten at least until the kickoff.
The Tigers' recovery started with Scott Prince moving from five-eighth to half, versatile Ben Galea going to pivot and everyone assuming more responsibility.
The points spree started with centre John Wilson scoring in the 57th minute.
It was followed by tries from centre Shane Elford (63rd minute), prop Bryce Gibbs (69th) and replacement forward Jeff Lima (72nd).
It swept the Tigers from trailing 16-8 to a match winning 30-16 lead before Manly ran in a consolation try. The win reignites the Tigers after a couple of earlier disappointments this season and a tough run coming up against leading sides.
"If I said I wasn't worried at 16-8 and the halfback hurt, I'd be lying," Sheens said.
"But a couple of our players came to life. Scott Prince started taking us forward and the crowd helped by getting behind us."
Three of the Tigers' five tries came from circumstances that needed luck on the day, including two from bombs and one from a wild pass that was aimed at no one. But the Tigers held on when the pressure was most fierce. Prop John Skandalis was outstanding, having a hand in a couple of good tries and working non stop.
Lock Scott Sattler was equally effective and his tackling helped paper over some defensive glitches by his teammates as the disrupted Tigers line up sought cohesion.
For Manly it is now six losses in succession and there seems no way coach Des Hasler can turn things around at the moment despite his intense commitment.
"We made line breaks but the 50-50 chances went against us," Hasler said.
Manly's immediate prospects look grim unless they find a win.

Sheens said he had no doubts the crowds support and cheering helped the guys on, and satts said while he's normally in "the zone" and he dont normally hear the crowd , he did yesterday and it helped him and the boys stay focused etc.
I dunno but from where we were sitting in front of the main stand it sounded pretty noisy to me...it was great.
