2 weeks away from the season start and its time for me to say

"good luck in 09"

as a local its good to see the raiders going well on the field. i certainly enjoyed some of last years thrashings.

hopefully you crack the 5K membership as well. im sure theres 5 thousand die hards out there willing to throw their support behind the team in an official capacity.

this year should be interesting. new coach, new players etc. Campo emerging as a star in the league. Justin Carney. Toyota cup premiers last year. things are looking up in the capital.

ive heard mixed things about furner from a few sources.

in any case, you should win about 8 games at home at least.

I was more confident a few weeks back .... I know "the finals are played in September" and all that stuff but the trial losses against the Broncs and Dogs (two teams that I didnt rate for 2009) has sowed a seed of doubt in my mind.

Yep, call me a nego but I'm also not too confident in the coaching staff.
