i dare say i didnt see this being a semi final match up.

thought we would scrape in and the Raiders not make it.

Both teams have suprised. the Raiders wilth their flashy Brilliant speed (including..what 110 points all up against the dogs?) and the Sharks with their dogged, stingy defense and commitment to not letting teams over the tryline.

The Raiders injury toll has been imense and should be commended for getting this far.

Season highlights...the gutsy win at Wollongong. fantastic effort. also. that penrith game was fairly spectacular.

The sharks..not so many injuries. a season ender to Rhys Williams and Lance retired. a couple of suspensions along the way as well.

Season highlight. not tanking at the end. Away form. Covell being the 3rd shark to take the season points tally...in the lowest try scoring team!.

Both teams have lost star players to alcohol related f**kwittery.

So it should be a cracking event.

let the best team win..and it not be ruined by some idiot official.

im picking us in a close one. but it could definantly go the green machines way.

in any case, well done on a great season and hopefully many canberra folk will make the journey up to Shire land.

I was queuing up for beers at the last origin match with my Raiders jumper on. A feral looking yob joined the queue in his Sharkies jumper and said something like:
"Raiders - Hah! We smashed you's the other night!"

I said "Well done. You can have last Monday, we'll just be happy with our 3 premierships".

UnShark (unknown Sharkies fan) pissed himself, put his hand up for a high 5 and bought my beers for me.

If he was coaching The Raiders, he wouldn't be whining and whinging at the media, he'd be telling them the unpopular truth. He's earned the right to do that with whichever club he's associated.

It was 93 Ricky done his leg , I cant stand him as an opposition coach , Im sure my attitude would change if he came back home, as a Raider player loved the bloke and must admit he coaches the same way he played.
