Marshall was never going to be at his best he missed a large chunk of 2006 and the off season, if he can come back, find his feet again in the lead up to the finals series, and start to peak in the finals, we are a real chance, the same thing can be said about Hodgson. I won't be expecting miracles in their first few weeks back, but if we can claw our way into the top 4 we have the strike power to win the whole thing, as long as we avoid Parra in the finals (bogey side)

Hodgson's knee wasn't right. This enforced absence will have allowed it to come good imho. As for Parra.
a) They choke
b) we are due
c) B Finch & T Smith are sh*t

I just hope we get them in the first week, and can survive if we lose, that way, we'll end up on opposite sides of the draw.

Hodgson at his best is one of the most dangerous ball runners in the competition even if he doesn't have as much speed as some of the others. with his knee at 100%, he will be nearing his best, one thing we have seen is that he is a very consistent player when he is 100%, which he will be when he returns.

my predicted finish after 26 rounds

Storm
Sea Eagles
Eels
Tigers
Cowboys
Warriors
Bulldogs
Broncos

might be a bit bias, but I think the 8 will stay with the same teams, only positions will change, 3-8 could end up in any order but Manly and Melbourne should cement their positions as top 2.

Farrah has really changed the way the Tigers play a little bit, Hodgson around the rucks will terrorise especially with Farrah going so well, Benji may have to take the back seat and just chime in whenever he feels like.
Farrah runs the show now but yeah with those 2 returning the Tigers looking good.

The Tigers are no hope of winning the competition. Not with their hot potato style of football. They've suffered 3 30+ point losses to the top teams. Its all well and good touching up nuffies like Penrith and St.George but when the finals come the tigers will be well and truly tamed.
None of them were 30+, all three were 30 points (8-38, 18-48 and 4-34)…
North Queensland have had 30, 34 and 46 point losses, that mean they have no chance also?
