There’s a simple fix to this issue. Rather then sin binning and ruining most games why not sin bin the serious and deliberate ones and leave the rest up to the judiciary. Obviously it needs to be consistent though, you hit high you get a minimum week, none of this points shit. Accidental still gets a week and the more serious longer

Something needs to be done to ensure there is consistency with how players are penalised and what you say could have merit.

Fine sufficient go

Find sufficient for accidental
I will go a step further - penalty sufficient
Sorry..another step. Not even worthy of a penalty
Imagine Paul V getting a week for a player running Into his dangling arm

The NRL has created a monster and it's hard to see how they come back from that.
Instead of enjoying a game of skill and strength and speed, we now have a game of stoppages, Bunker interference, unexplained calls, milking in overdrive and a seemingly unlimited interchange that just upsets and frustrates everyone, players, refs, coaches and fans. Instead of cheering on your team you're screaming for opposition sin binnings and send offs for everything ( the commentators are the worst for this) and decrying any decision deemed inconsistent with what you saw yesterday or last week or 10 minutes ago. I'm honestly close to giving up on footy altogether.

Today's Eels vs Manly game - 15 penalties, 8 x 6agains, 4 Sin Bins, 6 on Report.
Rabbits vs Panthers - 20 penalties, 6 x 6agains, 3 on report.
Roosters vs Broncos - 15 penalties, 8 x 6agains, 4 Sin Bins, 10 on Report.

That's 50 penalties and 19 on report from just 3 games. It's beyond a joke. The game has been turned on it's head and it's hard to fathom why the NRL would do that to their own product. Are there dark forces at work who have an agenda to radically overhaul the game ? Vlandys is a Fox man, handpicked and put in place by Murdoch so you never know.

If Fridays game wasn't farcical enough Saturday has shown us all just how shitfull this game has begun.i do agree with the rule no attacking apponants head, but no 2 tackles are the same.In my opinion Ramseys was deliberate instant send off considering ramsey did not come back on HOW did Radley stay on the field?Nrl need to justify that decision and explain why.Besides the fact he is a Roosters player.VlIANDyS and Co you should be ashamed of yourselves, implementing a rule mid season with what appears to be the Refs having no idea of what to do either, and blatantly targeting certain clubs more than others.

Well said dragon girl !

It would indeed appear that it has turned out exactly the way that we had predicted. The top teams given the benefit of lax penalties for the same infringements as the lower teams , but to make the situation far , far worse , the powers to be of the game have seemingly introduced this relaxation during the round .

All I can say is - where in the name of hell would this game be if was not for fair minded men such as those from the NRL ?

The game of rugby league has been totally and royally f##ked by those merkins at the NRL due to their incompetence and the clubs who are not blessed by those lords of the game , will most unfortunately find themselves forever destined to the lower end of the competition ladder until doomsday or until they are no longer financially viable as a going concern .

What a pack of lousy mongrels !
