Wellington in shock plan to join Super League

I'm still thinking this is like an early april fool's joke, like Fairleigh Good said - the date ws the first thing I checked.

It is a huge publicity stunt.

But it should open debate on why the NRL has not told the world when it is going to look for an expansion of the NRL to include Wellington and Perth. That is the NRL's No 1 development priority.

Give us a date and a strategic plan David!

Crazy idea but it makes people think alright.

Personally I think it shouldn't happen, Super League has enough Kiwis anyway.
Super League need to stay focused in England and Europe if they are going to catch up to the NRL.
