Hayne didnt have a great game, granted. Looked a bit flat.

However if my coach thought Luke Burt was a better fullback than I was, I'd probably be depressed too.

the golden child can get away with it, he's only getting paid 400K + to do so...

Ur big on not persoanlly attacking players mate so i think ur comment here is unfair. By all means support Jnr but you dont have to drag down Jarryd while doing so.

It seems stagger is quite a bit bitter at Hayne and Inu or more so their managers for taking to big a slice of the pie and thats why we lost Williams. I say get over it Inu and Mateo showed what they are worth last night and Hayne is our only SOO rep who is still getting use to defending in the centres. As I have said before if it means we keep those 3 plus the Keatings and Albert, but had to let Tony go then so be it.

I'm not dragging anyone down sunshine, I'm merely stating a fact that Hayne/INU are on the sort of money that virtually exempts for any sort of critisism whilst the usual suspects are being targeted each week.

In a 17 man team, I refuse to blame individuals for any losses..it's a boring, repative, stupid, dumb arguement...and most who do simply hold an agenda.

so, everyone else gets targted why can't Hayne? when my memory serves me correct made 2 glarring defensive errors that saw the opposition score 2 tries.

Yep exactly. At least when Hayne was one of the hottest young talents in the game (before he made his debut) he choose to sign a minimal wage 2 year deal even tho he expected to crack the big time very soon.

He is a superstar and deserves the money he is on.

I'm more than happy that those guys have chosen their path for the next 2 years, but should they be immune to any critisism??

your obsession never ceases to amaze me Pete..let it go mate.

What about the obsession of hammering Bretty Finch by Bazal, R.J and others. Does that amaze you too?..At least Bretty has shown he can hack it? I can understand their point of view but does it need to be brought up in every thread..That is the message delivered to me. Do they get the same treatment? Mmmmmmm interesting.....
The Eels were desperately unlucky against the Broncos..but still everyone is unhappy. The first handling error came in the 27th minute. With an ounce of luck, a couple of more tries could have (and should have) eventuated. Nothing wrong with the effort. Bronco's, courtesy of Lockyer, produced some amazing pieces of play to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. The Bronco's had eight SOO players..Nine if you count Lockyer...

Inu and Hayne may be overpaid but I wouldn't swap them for anyone. They are local boys and are class.

right, it's perfectly fine to come here and blame Grothe for the whole loss??...I'm merely pinpointing certain areas that may have been improved from OTHER players in the side..

btw, It also would of been nice for Hindy to take the pass just before half time which may well have given us an 8 point buffer.

and that'd fine, if people are prepared to except that those guys are over paid than maybe our arguement this week regarding Williams is a little hypacritical.

Its sad, but Hindy has gone down a peg this year.

please cut the "poor me" bullshit Pete..I've personally taken those guys to task in the past as well, but they don't seem to go on with it like you do..

If uve seen my other posts i havent criticised anyone and have offered support to the guys who have been coping unfair sh*t on this forum. Its not my goto bag individuals either. But ur the one claiming its also not ur go. Yet uve singled out Jarryd.

Dont try to balance the ledger by attacking players contray to those who are already getting bagged. Labelling players sarcastically as "golden boys" isnt a suggestion of improvement.

No they should'nt but Hayne was solid in other areas last night and is trying to adjust to being an elite centre, While Mateo and Inu were outstanding. So they can be critisised for mistakes but also give credit where its due and remember we are talking about young players. Although Guru is not always at fault down his side, he is now at the twilight of his career and has to make better choices more often and he is also not balancing the leger like Hayne does with some good work in attack. He is down in confidence and needs a rest while TT deserves another go.
