All she sings about are STD's!!! Dont get me started on her!!

The Angels By Request gig will be on July 16th. I think the $40 a ticket is a bit steep, but im just so happy the club are starting to get some live bands back!! :D:D:D

The Angels :thumn

Hi all,

Just a message for any Wes Carr fans out there.

Wes is playing live at Parra Leagues on Thursday 25 June.
He will be supported by Sally Singleton, who apparently is John Singleton's daughter in fact!

I have it on VERY good authority that Sally Singleton can't sing..... apparently money can't buy everything but it can sure as hell make a CD sound better :sarcasm:

Wes Carr is TERRIBLE!

The really funny part of the whole "Idol" thing is that he had written, funded & recorded an album which is complete and ready to go. He can't release it due to the contracts at Idol.

shed be nicer if she dissapeared to the moon

I have high hopes of humans colonising the Moon in the near future. What I don't want to happen is that we turn up to find this she-beast there. It would spoil the whole experience.

Send her to Cthulhu, I say.

What were the board thinking when they get one of the most popular musicians into the leagues club. :sarcasm: Like him or not, he'll get people back to the leagues club, and isn't that what you've all been whinging about down there?

I think you guys are harsh on Wes Carr, no doubt based on the anything-that-is-from-idol-must-be-crap attitude. In fact Wes is a talented musician and pre-idol had a good thing going with Ben Gilles whilst Silverchair were between albums.

He may have sold his soul to the devil with the Whoa song but the NRL $$ was there for the taking. Most musicians wouldn't knock that sort of cash back including the Hooddo Gurus who did very nicely out of it. Captain BF is right about his independent album, its ready to be published and I know that Don Walker was involved in a collaboration and also a member of the Oils, I think Jim Moginie.

I have plenty of time for Wes and think he has been very smart...... The dollars he earns from the NRL deal will give him a great platform to build a very good career.

In my opinion he'll be one of the idol people that actually earns longevity in the industry...

For the record though i'm not a fan of that idol BS in the slightest and i think that it is a blight on the music industry and the community as a whole.
