I listened to an interview with Arthur Laundy, he said he was a Tigers fan from when he was a kid, then a few years ago one of his sons suggested sponsoring the Doggies, and now he is all-in on his support for them.

I actually don't mind Brad Arthur but I think he under performed at Parra considering they had a decent roster.
Still, he's experienced and I think we would have to look at his Parra stats during his reign to see if something stands out, eg defensive coach, drills co-ordinator etc.

Agree, he's an experienced FG coach, there is surely a role for him in any club system somewhere.
There are two kinds of coaches - those who have been fired and those who haven't been fired yet.

Imo, assistant coaches are like horse whisperers. Give advice whilst not treading on the head coach toes.
I think Morris and Hodgo are a good fit but there would be a job for Arthur for sure Tm.

I can't see Arthur going back down to an assistants role. Especially with PNG coming in and other NRL jobs no doubt coming up. Although he's certainly good at rebuilds. Parra were in disarray when he took that job and got them to a GF

I note that we wanted an anti disparagement clause which I guess he's agreed to. I sure as shit hope they've also got a signed document saying he wasn't bullied. It wouldn't surprise me if him and Satan sued us in the off season or sooner if we didn't get this.

Pretty sure that was done (the bullying) and why they changed their stance, I can't find the article but it felt like they must have been advised he had a case with a chance of being successful.

Let's hope so TM because Satan hates us and if we haven't dotted ours i's and crossed our t's this could come back to haunt us. Especially if LG fails at the dogs and the signing and club blow up which is a 50/50 chance.
