Welsh rugby league sadness as former Bulls and Cougars rivals quit professional game

IT is a sad day for rugby league in Wales, with a former divisional rival of the Bradford Bulls and Keighley Cougars quitting the professional game.

And with that there goes the weekly 70 point beltings to an absolute basket case of a club. Should've had the pin pulled years ago.

Focus all energy on Crusaders.

Hopefully a new club can fill the void in Wales, though just be based closer to Cardiff where the players are.

Crusaders, whilst a lot more successful on the field, don't really produce many Welsh players. The Southern Wales teams have been far more successful at that, including the Raiders.

who the frank wants to travel to the north every other week for little money? if there was a lot of ppl here who wanted to play RL they would. stop trying to force RL onto ppl.

The game does need another semi professional club in Wales and hopefully with an academy.
