This is a Disgrace

I Live in Campbeltown and support the tigers and i know people who support the tigers who were going down the leagues club to watch the game

I think its wrong to ban all people wearing cowboys gear

Imagine the Cowboys win and the Cowboy's fans start rubbing it in people's faces. It's a smart decision.

^^ True
There were a couple of blues in the All-Star Cafe in the Crown Casino in 1999 when the final siren went!

Nah it's fair enough. Most leagues clubs ban jerseys of the other team only because it causes fights.

It's just a measure to ensure there is no voilence at the venue. Its a shame that it has to come to this but if it saves a fight then its a fair call.

can'town leagues does very strange things

i can't get in wearing a wests jersey on games that we play at telstra or l'cardt.
even though i get dropped off at their door on the supporters bus.

just go to brdburry pub or you might see tommy radonakis at the court tavern

Its just plain sensible. No-one in their right mind would go in there with Cowboys gear on other than for a stir - there are plenty of other places to watch the game. It can only cause trouble

I was at Saints leagues for the 93 GF and a guy took his jumper off at the end of the game to reveal a Broncos Jersey underneath. The end result wasn't pretty.

"Cowboys jumpers are not permitted due to the fact that there is the potential to incite violence."

There was a guy in a Broncos jersey at the presso at Ashfield after the 2nd semi .....he was lightheartedly outed, it was all in fun, it was a SEMI, we won it.

Different stakes now.

I feel sorry for people who are members of clubs where other members/patrons can't be trusted not to beat up people wearing gear from an opposition team. :(

Wests football club you are a disgrace.

Our group of supporters, in Sharks colours, who attend the Cowboys home game have always been welcomed at their club before and after the game. We use their free bus service to the footy field and back and can honestly say that the supporters and the club management have always allowed us to use these facilities with open arms.

What is it with this Wests club. If they allow their own supporters in with their colours on then I reckon its illegal not to allow other club supporters in with their colours on.

In Cronulla Leagues club they allow all supporters in with their colours on, as a matter of fact the last game against Souths I reckon there was just as many Souths jerseys as Cronulla in the club.

I was asked to leave the Swan Hotel in Richmond in 2003 after the Storm vs Sharks game because "sports colours aren't allowed"........

ITS A ONE TEAM TOWN FFS! its not like it was celtic and Rangers!

Should have gone down the road to Windsor. I'm sure the Macquarie Arms is happy for you to be wearing whatever colours you like.
