I don't know about that... I think we'd be a chance, and it's better than the All-Stars match as it gives us our team to cheer for. Given our shocking run this year it might give us something to look forward to.

Me too...I usually am not too interested in these abbrev forms of the game, but seeing as our season finished some time ago it will be good to cheer for our team rather than the mickey mouse allstars gamme

The 7s in 2004 were still one of my favorite days ever at the footy, I think it really kick started our success in 05. For a team tha had limited success in 2013 a good showing at the 9s could really launch our 2014 campaign, plus I think we have the players who could tear this form up.

I heard today that there will be squads of 16. 12 have to be from the top 25 and 1 of your top 5 paid players.

I would certainly throw in a pommy team, maybe wigan at least. Fiji were the main attraction back in the 7's days so they would add something.
