Alright, if that's true, then it is very disturbing, but she doesn't claim to have been forced to have sex with them, just had her mouth covered. So it isn't THAT bad, however, is still terrible and assault is a crime.

Oh, well, then go for it! Sexual assault, as long as you don't mention th e"R" word is fine

Suzie, suzie suzie. The article had nothing to do with sexual assults of any kind... I may be naive but atleast I can read.

being held down on a bed, having your mouth covered, 3 players in various stages of undress ... yep no sexual assault intended there  Maybe you can read, westie, but I am not naive and can read between the lines

So its a crime for blokes to walk around in undies in the hotel room now? Putting a hand on a persons mouth is sexual assult?

She rooted a player in a laneway behind a niteclub in Goulburn.
Not hard to see why some team mates might think a gang bang
is on the cards.....then when it became obvious that it wasnt gunna happen, they all put their pants on and the woman left.
Seems like a misunderstanding to me.

#-o #-o This conversation is getting tooo deep for me & maybe i should not get on these forums as much either there are some bad influences.I enjoy mixing with some real people, like the ones at the footy that shout out obscenity's like "RIP HIS F*CKIN HEAD OFF" you know these people seem a little more genuine to express what they really think.Because when i express what i think, all these civil liberterian type people have a go at me.

Westie is right in that it doesnt constitute sexual assault though an argument could be made for "assault with intent to have sexual intercouse" which is a major crime in itself and liable to 20 years in prison

However, even if this isnt the case. The behaviour described is extremely poor. Thet attempt to deceive a person into having intercourse is a disgraceful way to act and in no way should anybody be advocating this behaviour.

As for what Mighty Tiger said he is right that an event that occurred 3 years ago should be examined. In regard to civil liability there is a 3 year statute of limitations but extensions can be applied for. In the case of Geoff Clark the courts held looking back 33 years. There is no statute of limitations criminal matters and nor should there be.

You just know that if something did happen the former players that have been part of the club would be probably be involved. I wouldn't put it past the some of our past players although saying that it looks like no rape actually occured therefore what could they charge them with: intimidating behaviour? Is there such a charge?

I would like to see a further follow up on this one to see the real truth. By the way isn't it a nice change to see that the tigers this year do not have that controversy attached to then (touch wood). It really seems Sheens has attracted trouble-free players such as sattler, Moodie, Prince & Co

A nice change

i was in goulburn that night & didnt see any girls & i was where the players were

id say theres nothing in it & as i said to some1 consentual; or not any girl whos slept with a footy player for the last 2 years will most likely come out now for the publicity

I think this is the most likely thing to have occured. Sure, they went too far with the hand over the mouth, but as was stated that IS NOT sexual assault. However, it does it make it right, 'cause it ain't....

With the Bulldogs thing, I really hope we don't see ample false claims of rape by pathetic women, which has happened in the NBA before and other times.

It would still constitute sexual assault (actually aggravated sexual assault, more than one offender). Under 61P of the NSW Crimes Act, any person who ATTEMPTS to commit the offence of aggravated sexual assault is liable to the penalty provided for the commission of the offence.

Also, if this is all true then the player/s must have been pretty hard up. I've spent over 6 months living in Goulburn and there was hardly a decent woman down there. I was climbing the walls to get out of there. You'd be hard pressed to find a girl with all her front teeth in Goulburn.

Well you could throw attempted murder in there if that makes things better, afterall they tried to suffocate her with a pillow.
