Alex dont take me for granted but I get the feeling at the start of 2000, for some reason they implemented a 6 interchange rule - Might of been because of the early start to the year (still in summer) , because of the olympics.

i'm pretty sure ken played because he had a chance for a field goal and put in a grubber
sounds like something we would still do today

Actually Holla you're right and your wrong. Kenny, took part in the 2nd half, when he replaced Hoppa on the right wing when he torn his tricep mid way through the 1st half. The field goal incident you are referring too was a blunder by Craig Field and Adam Nable. Field ran it right, when he had an ample opportunities to win the game. It was Kevin McGuinness in waiting for the field goal attempt, when Adam Nable hesitated with the pass to Buddha and then decided to put a grubber quick in, which was cleaned up by Lote Tiquiri for the Broncos.

Field won us alot of games that year, great little player.

We could actually look potent in attack that year.

What id do for a Shne Walker, Jason Lowrie or Mark Stimson now as well.

It was not Fields fault!

It was the third tackle and there was still 25 seconds to go!

100% Adam Nables Fault.

Yep thats exactly how it happened. Worst play ever by Nable!! No idea why he was even in the side!

We lost a few biggish forwards mid season which hurt us, not to mention the Penrith loss which just devastated the side.

We had a tremendous side who if lacked one thing - was only a reasonable five eigth to just take some pressure off Field.

thanks for the site holla

god how they where rong bout IN season 2000, young Luke O’Donnell and Joel Caine proved to everyone what bright futures they have. Caine’s kicking in the 2nd half of the season was mind boggling to say the least (he wasn’t top scorer for nothing) and O’Donnell, well, his Test and Origin debuts are only a matter of time away

I thought Ben Duckworth went well in his few games there

Shame he could never stay on the field for more than 3 games!
