I love Ellis. Deserved it for the first two years, but Im the same with Galloway/Benji over him.

Guess your not a fan. Iron man award is given to player(s) who play all 26 regular season matches.

Tried hard to be a fan, and am aware of how the award works. Just can't get my head around using "iron" & "Moltzen" in the same sentence, talented player no doubt. But iron man, give me a break........

I'm surprised Ellis won the award tbh. I thought over the course of the season, there were plenty better. In no particular order
Heighington
Fulton
Farah
Ayshford
Galloway

were all more deserving of the title.

Not sure I can agree with Farah, for mine one of his quieter years. And Fulton had a fantastic last 3 months but the first 10 rounds or so were ordinary IMO.

Definitely thought Galloway was top drawer this year, Ayshford was solid if unspectacular and Hino was much the same. Benji was sensational over the last couple of months but started slowly and Gaz was fantastic when he played.

Ellis had his poorest season at the club imo. I'm not saying he was bad though.

Kind of geniused that Ellis can win 'best player' but not win 'best forward'.

...or that last year Benji won the Golden Boot but wasn't even voted best player for his own club.

Golden boot is weighted more towards international games. Benji was excellent in the 4 nations which is why he won the award.

Agree 100%

Ellis wasn't in the top 5 players fort he year IMO. He didn't have a bad year, but it was obvious he was hampered by injury and didn't play to the extremely high standards he had set the previous 2 years.

Galloway and benji were by far out best players this year IMO

Next tear down were probaby ayshford, Gibbs, heighno and Fulton.
