"The Wests Tigers Board of Directors has declared its unanimous support for the Club to field a single stream side in the NSW Cup Competition from the 2013 season.

This decision, taken at a meeting of Directors last night, has been confirmed to the New South Wales Rugby League this morning.

The Club now awaits approval from the New South Wales Rugby League for the Wests Tigers side to enter the NSW Cup Competition in 2013."

I think this was coming for a while, as the Magpies did not get the attention and funds which the Balmain club received from Wests Tigers. The NSW Rugby league are yet to approve this move

Isn't this better. Now we get one club and the wests/balmain crap should be further behind us.

Talking of state cup. Bret had a fantastic win today in the first semi against Windsor. 36-6 from memory. Meaney was great as was Humble, how they cant get a gig before Moltzen has me f**ked. Moors and Simona played good as well.

We are not even close to being a club...dont kid yourselves.

As for reserve grade, I really dont give much of a rats

When u/18s SG Ball is the most senior teams for BRET & Wests, who will bother joining the football clubs - no one, even less than they currently do.
No voting members.
The board remain unanswerable to anyone, as do the coach, ceo and players.
You can buy a membership, get a shitty flag and sweatshop cheap crap cap....yet you have to cop shit like:

The death of the magpie mascot is a move in the right direction. The white needs to take
a back seat in out colours now, to strengthen our brand.

I just hope Sirro is involved in what ever they do. The guy is Tigers through and though and has done a great job @ Bret.

Didnt see ONE first grader watching Bret today
macnaz, I said this elsewhere in regards to watching a semi at Leichhardt 2 years back. All the Bulldogs were there to support their NSW Cup team.

Bet you plenty that the Bulldogs players were at Belmore yesterday to watch the NSW Cup. As I said, this comes back to the culture at the club under a switched on CEO compared to Hunphreys.

Why not make the players attend the finals football games ? it ain't that hard.

With you on this. Time to look forwards and have the whole club come together as one.

how can this happen when you make the magpies dissapear.Great news if you are a balmain supporter but that has always been the agenda of the merge for balmain to rise

Balmain (BRET) have been gone for quite a while

Humpty can have WTs wearing Balmain type jumpers, trot out Sirro benny & Junior ad nauseam.....if that keeps em happy
