Cronulla have never won a comp - do they deserve a license?

Easts have no juniors - do they deserve a license?

Souths is an incompetent brothel of a club - do they deserve a license?

Melbourne are totally financially unviable - relatively unsupported and propped up by News Ltd - do they deserve a license?

Canterbury are Canterbury (need I say more) - do they deserve a license?

Brisbane almost destroyed our great game by initiating Superleague - do they deserve a license?

That is a bullsh*t question?????????

Wests need to string two back to back wins together first. They haven't won two in a row for over two years. This would indicate a problem making the 8. Good luck.

Back to the original post.

I'm not writing the Warriors off yet. Just watching last night they were awful. But they still only lost by 6 and looked like they coulda pulled it out of the fire on the last play. At the moment just nothing is sticking. I don't know if they need to cool it a little or just keep doing what they are doing in the confidence that the passes are gonna stick. If they do get it together they are going to be fricn scary. They were carving up the Dogs last night, and it was just bad passes or knock ons (usually whilst they were in the process of cutting the defence to shreds) that cruelled them. 1 from 6 is hard to come back from. But these guys are freaks and I wouldn't put it past them. Could do with one of the front rowers to simply tuck it under the arm and go forward once every set of six though.

On the Knights, I think they are still a pretty tough side to tip against. Premiers? Not very likely, but so long as BK and Bedsy stay fit and Gidley can do at least a competent job then they have enough class to make the eight.

I agree yappy, people right off the warriors far too quickly. They have a massive side, with talent all round. They certainly haven't shown anything great this year but there is no doubt they have the talent to turn it around. I think it revolves mainly around stacey jones. He hasn't been in good form for a while and the side is dependant on him to guide the side. But, I'd be very suprised if they didn't turn it around.

As for our chances, if our front rowers improve I think we are a chance. Prince had a poor game last week but he seems to be a player of genuine quality, and that is something the tigers haven't had in the halves for a while. We probably lack creativity in the backline but if the forwards were to get a roll on our backline would have enough space to get creative. We have to pick up points against the teams we should beat though, and missing out on two points against souths was really dissapointing. In any case, I don't think it's all doom and gloom. If our attack gets going I think it'll take the pressure off our defense (which is the sole reason we have two wins on the board).
