Parra played terrible how the hell the tigers weren't leading by 10-20 at halftime I'll never know.

Parra have a lot of improvement left in them I'd say that saying they were playing at 5% capacity would be an overstatement.

Happy for the win but the Tigers need serious help, maybe Benji coming back will do it but if it doesn't they'd be lucky to win a game this year based on that.

Tahu is an abysmal defensive centre.

Sat Richards on his arse and overall didn't do as badly as people make out. Missed Richards when he was challenging for the ball that lead to Richards "try"..... outside of that defensively he was ok.

Disappointed with the game.

Some very dumb mistakes by the Tigers, why, when Fitzhenry was at fullback, did he feel he needed to attack the ball when it was 10 metres out after Parra put up 2 bombs if he can't catch? When the game was up for grabs why did we have 2 woeful 5th tackle options that resulted in 2 nothing kicks by Richards? (He had a good game, hope he can stay injury free this year)

Once again our attack lacked direction when it mattered and injury exposes our lack of depth. If we normally start the season well how bad are we going to get? Here's hoping for some improvement.

I thought our defence was good, but I'd like to see us play some teams that can attack better that the Tigers did last night, to ba able to gage our defence.

the game was not played at a high standard and the score flattered us, but I'd be bitterly dissappointed if I was Tigers fan

1. Both teams were woeful

2. Russel Smith should never referee in this country again. Phil Gould said it was the best refereeing he had seen in a game and said he should ref origin. Just proves what a f**kwit you are Gould. Let him ref every Roosters game for the rest of the year. And while your at it staple a rule book and a tape measure to his arse.

3. Glen Morrision should be suspended for 2 weeks. 4 high shots in one game not good enough. In saying that he probably wont even be on report

I didn't think the reffing was bad at all.

Smith (the ref) was pretty good IMO.

I'd much rather him than any of the other refs running around who have ripped us off many times in the past.

Nothing to complain about this time.

The ref had nothing to do with the tigers losing the way they did.
In the first half:
1) Miles makes a break and tries to beat the fullback instead of passing inside to Hodgson who was flying through and would have scored under the posts. score was 8-0 at that stage.
2) Allowing Morrison to score in the last tackle of the half. That was the turning point of the match.

In the second half:
Simply too much dropped ball. The second half was not anywhere near first grade standard.

Do the tigers have any props on the books besides Skando and Payton? God help us when either has to miss a match, or heaven forbid, take a break on the bench during a game :roll:

LOL thx Hurriflatch.I was at the game and didn't have a program. I actually had Rieck in the post originally but I changed it to Miles after reading another post with the team list. Looks like I was right the first time.

We do

However they will seemingly never get a run for reasons only known to Sheens.

At least Gibbs (the only other prop sheens trusts) is back in round 3 meaning we may go into the game with an actual prop on our bench
