I hope we get a good crowd. It will be hard because the game was moved at short notice.

It'll be great to see the Wests boys back at Henson. They have a great mob of fans. I hope Mark the Magpie makes an appearance as well.

My offer still stands to take any Cronulla fans from the Shire to Royal & Ancient Henson. I will be driving from Engadine on Saturday so could pick up from Engadine Railway Station or Sutho. I will leave just after 12 to actch the Flegg!

Halftime Wests 10 Jets 6. Then the boys beat them 24 nil in the second half. Thommo still not back, and Vince didnt play, but the boys put on a great display. Both the Cronulla jersey flegg boys played well. Top effort boys.

That first half wasn't much to speak of. Murph must've really got up them.

Now for the Bunnies!

Yeah. We didnt have much ball possession at all. If we did that against Parra, Canberra or the Roosters they would have put on more than 10 points. Thought Thommas GEMMEL played well again. The boys were asleep, but definately came out firing in the second half.

How good did MERRITT go considering he was suffering from food poisoning for two days prior to kickoff. Apparently he insisted on playing even though sick. Kicking five from five with two from the side line. What a little champion he is.

The forwards just wore them down in the second half. Will definately take the two points and the 20 for and against though. But we really should have beat them by more than just twenty. Threw away a lot of chances through bad ball control, but atleast we are still in second.

Norths almost beat the dogs and were just beaten by two points with a kick after the siren. Parra almost went down to Souths, and only just beat them by two points, so we almost stayed on equal first. Both canberra winning 48 to nil, and the roosters winning 42 to 12 maintain the pressure on the Jets. We will really have to improve on that performance at Aussie stadium next weekend againt the bunnies. Hope I dont smell an upset in the cards. Souths must have played well against Parra, however I think Parra have some injuries at the moment.

Will be a big game next week against the bunnies.

It is a big game.

Tommy Gemmell played very well. He hasn't missed a beat since coming back to PL.
