Ive heard rumours too that it was goorne.

And its been down for three weeks so ya cant blame anyone for thinking that it may be true.

What the hells going on????It just closes down without any word and its gone for nearly a month without any explanation.Hate to whinge,but its not very proffessional IMHO.

Sincas if it is going to be a while could you ask the club if they'd be interested in putting the answers to our questions to marketing on the website,i'm sure i'm not the only one who would like feedback on their questions/proposals :cry:

With every day that passes I grow more skeptical that it will return.
To not offer any information is the disappointing aspect.....you gotta email them to find out what theyre doing....that in itself makes me tend to think that weve seen the last of it, not to mention the fact that its heading towards a month that its been down. I hope I'm wrong though.

I know a few clubs have removed forums from their web-sites. The Knights' has the following message;

"The forum has been closed following legal advice that the Club, Administration and Directors can be held personally liable for anything published on the forum and can be sued for damages.

A number of legal cases are currently underway in Australia relating to statements made by third parties on chat rooms and web sites.

Should changes to the law occur in the future that remedies this situation we will review our decision.

We apologise for any inconvenience."


Lets hope ours isn't headed for the same grave yard.

Dale, please email the club re the Q&A. I have been reminding them about it.

Mikey, who did you email? Anything that comes to me is forwarded straight to marketing. I'm not in a position to answer those emails. As far as I am aware, the forum will be back once the server upgrades/issues have been sorted out.

I wouldn't make the assumption that it is gone for good because of what other sites have done, as they did that last year and ours has continued on.

The server was at the point that it was troublesome and frustrating and something needed to be done.

I also wouldn't assume the length of time to get it back is an omen of things to come, these type of rumours/thoughts need some foundation and every email I have seen from the club has indicated it will be back so anything to the contrary is either a figment of somebody's imagination or they know something I don't.

I emailed to admin I believe - I selected what seemed to be the most appropriate section.

Surely though they would pass it on to someone who could answer it.

I work in international in a large uni in QLD and it's vital we pass on enquiries to keep the cash coming in - the Tigers admin should surely understand something about keeping the loyals happy - it's called good business sense.

I agree 100%. ANy emails sent to Website Feedback are sent straight on to the relevant person if I cannot answer it myself.

Lads Sincas is right they club just has to pull it's finger out and buy a new server. Send your emails through and let them know your feelings. I want tour forum back too....

Just fire your emails off to the club and eventually enough voices may actually get recognised and something will happen
