Good point. I must admit, I have not looked deep enough into every party's statement on climate change.
Does local government elections have as much impact on this as federal?

I think every little bit helps in relation to the local government level but the problem is massive and it's world wide. Australia is a tiny blip in this issue.

Just to be clear you are stating you don't have the ability to prove the information I provided was wrong.

Just to re-quote it again. Maybe the third time is a charm.

I'm going out on a limb here - I think you are full of shit. I think you spoke like a big man but you can't back it up. This is multiple times I've called you out on your bullshit and you haven't backed it up once.

You mentioned trolling previously. You are trolling. You talk a big game but you are full of shit. Your opinion is bullshit.
The good news is you can roll all this out every time you meet someone that is a non believer.. sort of like hang on what’s your email? Done!!

The power of the voters does exist.
For years we had enough of pedestrians being hit at a particular obscured crossing. I walked around to nearby houses and businesses and raised a partition to demand a solution before someone got killed.
I presented the partition to my local member and within weeks they installed traffic lights and a 40km speed zone.
Partitions have worked for us in the past stopping pollution entering into the Brisbane river. However, it is a continual battle.

My mother-in-law said she used to bathe in the clean clear waters of the Brisbane river as a kid.
Then in 1931 people were warned not to swim in it because of chemical leaks.
There have been several problems over the years, as the population increased so did the sewage, and farms further upriver were using fertilisers that bled into the system.
Now it's a yucky brown waterway caused by dredging.
It's a problem that will never, ever be rectified, because the river has a very slow tide that never drains and refills enough to eventually clear the system.
The Brisbane river could have been one of the worlds greatest waterways but instead it's an eyesore.... forever.
