having a shocker of a game until conn brushes the top of his head(with a swinging arm i admit), takes a dive because he bumped his head on the ground & sits out the rest of the game. wayne probably sent out his runner to tell him not to get up & look groggy to try to save face then kept him off the rest of the game due to his poor performance.

More like the only way Conn can land one on Weyman is when he is being held down by teammates? Do we have short memories?

Hard to be critical of Conn though because Weyman still managed to make more impact on the game lol

Whilst it may or may not have been the contact with Conn that caused Weyman's injury, he looked pretty hurt. He's not the type to lay down and milk it.

Whether it was Conn or the ground that hurt him is another matter though, but lumps on temples don't just appear.

It was a payback hit from Conn, even though he barely touched him.
You could see the way he went in with intent to get him though that he has wanted to get him from a previous indiscretion.

My memory may fail me at times but I think these 2 had a coming together when Conn was at the Titans and Weyman was at the Raiders. Weyman either king hit him or just smacked him a beauty because I remember Conn with blood on his face and Weyman got a holiday.

Edit - A quick you tube search and I found it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgnXH-LLFWQ

It wasn't a king hit despite the disgraceful carry on in the media by the Titanscum the week afterwards. He just belted him. Was good to see.

Connjob was very lucky it didn't really connect, because that was as intentional as you'll ever see and would have been a send off if he had found his mark.

I think Conn threw the first punch in the fight between them years back. Weyman threw the next 24 straight though.

And yeah Conn would have been off if that connected better no question in the world

When I said king hit I was going from memory, plus I added "or just smacked him a beauty".

After watching the vid I remember at the time I was in Weyman's corner because he obviously felt there something unnecessary in the tackle and he got him back for it. If people do something grubby in a tackle they deserve smack in the mouth.
This time it was Conn carrying it on.

More like Michael Layman. The only thing softer than him is Soward's fat face. Soward's cheeks and Weyman must have the same personal trainer.

Most of the stick given was for the Titans having a f**king whinge about the king hit (which it wasn't) and his girlfriend complaining about the damage to his modeling career

Downright pathetic from Weyman today though. He made Paul Briggs look legitimate

Conn put some niggle into the tackle. Weyman took offense. They squared up and Weyman belted him.

The Titans media machine carried on about a king hit, even though Conncould plainly see it coming, and had initiated it. Conn then proceded to complain (to the judiciary as I recall), that it had runed his modelling career.

There is histroy between the two, and I have no doubt there was malicious intent on Conn's mind today - but he missed and that is not why Weyman was dazed.

To suggest Weyman was milking is just ridiculous. The guy didn't come back onto the field. The fact he missed 50 minutes of a grand final would suggest he was unwell.

I somehow don't think Weyman came off because of the hit on the head. I thought he came off for a leg injury.

Fittler said he went into the change rooms and weyman had a large lump on his head

why would he milk it, it was his first hit up after coming back on and then he never came back on after it
