For those of you that haven't bought it, good article on Horse. Seems the kid really does wanna come back to Raiders after two years at Dragons improving his game, so it's a win-win. If he gets back to full fitness and learns under Bennett, we can gladly get him back at age 25, or if he doesn't progress we won't have lost anything and reduced the strain on our medical staff.
Didn't know his old man Ack was gear steward??? His connections with the club do run deep.

Mag also mentions Bryson Goodwin in talks to join his brother in green next year... good emerging winger, bigger and stronger than Bronx, could be a good pick up.

Funny to see Mark tookey is coaching up at Souths Logan and is a Raiders development officer!

No surprises for me.

As a few of us said a few weeks back, Weyman's head is in the right place and a stint under Wayne Bennet is exactly what is needed. See you in 2 and a half years.

I think if that happens with Weyman it will be great. A couple of years in a different environment, hopefully to knock the crap out of his game and then back to the Raiders. Perfect!

Don't get your hopes up guys. He says that now but 2 years with the Dragons, he might not want to leave.

Bingo Brimmer.

I was reading the comments before yours and was about to post the same.

Weyman imo is lost to the Raiders ... to get him back will prove more expensive than having offered him a decent package to remain a Raiders.

IMO this is one of the worst decisions management have made this season.

Tookey, now thats a prop!

Should have sent Weyman there years ago.

Tooooooooooooooookeeeeeey

Toooooooooooks will be playing for Hay Magpies on July 6 at Hay Park Oval, following in the footsteps of David Furner, Snoopy Collins and Andrew McFadden (2006), and Darren Smith and Gary Belcher (2007), who have also made guest appearances.

Awesome haha, maybe Raiders should sign him on a $2 contract for a 1 game cameo appearance.

Raiders would get a crowd of 20,000+ just to do the "Tooooooooooooookeeeeeeeeeeey!

He is a huuuuuuge Tooookeeey these days...but a great bloke and a character.
Was with him in Brisbane in SOO week (at the Cavalier Homes /Souths Logan SOO Luncheon, which btw gets better every year*), and also caught up with Clinton Schifoscke who is off to Belfast in three weeks time to play with Ulster - or is that Munster - in Irish Rugby Union. Choc has signed for three years.
Looking forward to seeing Tooks putting in a bowling ball effort against our opponents and......so is he.
*The Cavalier/Souths Logan Luncheon had 360 in attendance with special guests Laurie Daley, Arthur Beetson, Brett Kenny, Bomber Peard and Gary Belcher.
Badge interviewed Daley, Beetso and Bert...and Bomber topped it off with his very very funny stories..He is a classic.
