That Commentator you are referring to was Wayne "Junior" Pearce. One of the Immortals (Balmain Tigers) and Junior also coached the Mighty Wests Tigers.

What I liked the most was the way the other Tigers players stood up to Williams on behalf of O'neil and told him how low he was. Senter especially.

Danny Williams is a disgrace. Just like when he belted his team mate Ben Roarty in a hotel a few years back. A thug and a disgrace.

I doubt they would of scored, they ran through the gap Williams act had created. Worse than Luke O'Donnell breaking Michael Monaghans jaw last year. Hopefully he gets the suspension to fit, cos that will likely be his career.

I have sent a complaint to info@melbournestorm.com.au about that disgraceful behaviour. I can't believe when commenting on it, Bellamy brought in the fact that O'Neill had hit him high. WHO CARES?????

That was the same thug who broke O'Neill's nose a few weeks back too. Here is my email:

Dear Storm officials,

I would just like to express my disgust at the Danny Williams blindsighted king hit on Mark O'Neill one of the cleanest players to ever lace on a boot (even though he did go slightly high in that tackle). I can't imagine you would be foolish enough to re-sign him but I hope you also fine him heavily and send a message to all and sundry that such thuggery is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

He has a history of being involved in violent altercations and I find it hard to believe his story that he was so dazed he could not remember what happened, yet he ran 5 steps and landed a savage blow at speed.

that wasnt just a footy incident - it was assult. that was a very low act.

the boys on the sunday footy show were saying numbers in the vicinity of 20 week suspention.

vossy also said he talked to buckets and he was fine and confident it was nothing serious with just swelling and a cut.

vossy also said it was likely buckets will receive a careless grade 1 charge.

Dear Melbourne Storm

Should the Melbourne Storm management re-sign Mr Williams, it will be condoning the actions of a thug.

Mr Williams, and I use the term Mr very Loosely, is nothing but a coward and a thug and should never, ever be allowed to play Rugby League again, at any level.

Well I haven't seen anything in the media about it yet, I just saw it at the game. Doubt you'd find anyone not claiming this is as low as you could go. Hopefully the thug, and he's been bad before, will not play in the NRL again...

Coincidently, a player in a competition in QLD recently was suspended for something like 21 years for king-hitting a referee.
