This I think this will be the straw that breaks the camels back. Those rock apes that call them selfs Bulldog supporters have proberly just sealed the clubs future in the NRL or should I say NO FUTURE in the NRL.
This happens every year I'd say the sponsers will start to walk now rather than wait for any enquire.

We should thank our lucky stars that we didn't beat them last week. We wouldn't have made it home alive by the sounds of it.

Betcha the League don't do too much against the Dogs supporters. They'd be shyt scared of repercussions through the Anti-Discrimination Board.
Tellya what I expect they'd do: ban plastic bottles being sold to patrons. It's always the same: a minority do the wrong thing so EVERYBODY is penalised. That's a problem with today: offenders are NOT punished but rules are changed in the hope of preventing the offence from happening again. So the innocent majority suffer along with the very small guilty minority.

Ok, I think it has come to the situation where we get high tech security measures for entry into league grounds. Those that are are past offenders for brawling should be finger printed and subsequently banned from ever attending another football game anywhere.

This would mean that every patron would have to go through an electronic scanner for their finger prints. But for me if it keeps the rubbish out and the decent football fans still going to games I'm all for it.

We certainly don't want to go the way of England where we have segregated fans in cages like animals.

I wouldnt mind that, at least youre sitting with the fans you want to sit with

We don't want to go the way of english soccer, they just organise brawls after the games where opposition fans can fight. Some club supporters are even banned from entry into other european countries as they go specifically to start fights.

But what happened last night makes me sick to the stomach. I don't have much faith in the NRL taking any heavy handed action against these fans, but it is time that they do.
There is a minority of dogs fans that have been causing trouble for years, so why are they still out there causing trouble????

Fans are going to think twice about going to a dogs game, and who is the loser? The NRL and the rest of the genuine fans

And why do they think that other clubs should have to pay to upgrade their home security just to quell the weekly intifada amongst Dogs fans?

There was another young kid in tears just to the left of that photo aswell.

I felt f*cking awful to be associated with these select few idiots last night. There were all these young kids in bay 36 & 37 aswell as the upper tier that I could see that were scared as hell last night.

These idiots take no responsibilty for their actions. They don't seem to understand how what they do affects the club. These families aren't going to want to come to games involving Canterbury anymore, and hell, neither is a large percentage of other people and I don't blame them. Sponsors won't want to be associated with the club - and we'll crumble and die even if the NRL don't take any action.

Security needs to be upgraded. Sure, try and enforce bans on these d*ckheads but there's no guarantee you'll keep them out unless you do go to the extent of fingerprinting, which is not really a viable thing to do.
Fines on the club aren't going to make the supporters take notice. The best option is to take away the competition points we've won so far...they're too thick to realise what they're doing isn't helping unless it directly effects the success of the team.

I wouldn't want to imagine what they would do if we got kicked out though :|

Good on you Jess. Pleased to see there are some decent Bulldogs supporters because I'm afraid from the outside people will think that all bulldog supporters are like the ones who continually disrupt rugby league. That violence last night will drive people away from this great game and certainly will drive fans away from games invovling the bulldogs. We will see games with bulldogs playing with bulldogs supporters and no supporters for the opposing teams and how much fun would that be. I personally hope that all team supporters boycott bulldogs games so some form of message is sent to the NRL and Canterbury.
