Matty Hilder an 80% kicker gets 1 from 3.
Merrit kicks the worlds longest ever drop kick. Out on the full.
One shot at a repeat set in the first half, Nuttley gets it instead of Sully or Kent.
3 downtowns to VAGANA's side where they nearly bring it back to where it was kicked.
One bomb & not one chaser.
1 repeat set.

I dont like how Rapes uses kent with the kicking.
if Kimmorley was there he would be first choice, so kent should be too.

He may know when to (sometimes) but he his foot aint listening to his brain.

I blame the kicking game on Rapes.

it needs adjustment & they need to consider other options like
Kicking on the fourth.
Obviously using merrit or Kent for downtowns.
Bomb the corners.

I am also againt thes grubbers. Not just us, but it seems every second grubber strikes the defense & deflects back up feild.
The ball has to go in the air & bodies have to get on it & stop it being caught.

Bush syndrome. Say it enough, people start believing it.
Especially nungas like them who call games the easy way.
They see him kick 43 times in one match & they see a few repeat sets, a few touch finders, they soon forget about the ones out on the full. Or the ones that go dead. Or the ones that bounce of the legs.
Of course its an exaggeration, Kimmorley can kick. But he is average at best & he over utilises it.

& 2 callers I rate are Peter Sterling & Greg Alexander & they are often critical of his kicking game.
Laurie blows with the wind a bit.

You can stick to a team with kent at half, some no hoper to pair with McGoldrick, and a second rower as 5/8 ... and we'll never make the finals.
