What about the Parra Fans???

Do Parra fans make up excuses every week? And every week there are new excuses! I have ran out of excuses and patience myself. This is just a few things I have noticed supporters expressing their ideas about

>Wagon is sh#t and doesn't pass the ball.
- Well yesterday he played well. Set up a try by spreading the ball out wide and made 30+ tackles. Can't use that excuse anymore.

>Vella is a cat and has no heart.
- Yesterday he was parras best forward and made a barnstorming run which lead to McKinnon's try. Was fierce in defence. Can't use that excuse anymore.

>An extra option in attack is needed, Witt or Thorman must be include in first grade.
-Yesterday Thorman was added, and I thought played well, he should have had a 40/20, kicked ingoal leading to a drop-out and is slowly finding his way into the grade.

- This week I guess we can blame the ref. The ref let us down! :roll:

One of the most dissapointing crowds ever yesterday. I woke up in the morning with the biggest hard-on, knowing my beloved eels were going into battle for what seemed as the most important fixture since last years parra v panthers round 26 clash. It wa the perfect day for watching a game of footy. What did I find upon arrival, a pissweak crowd which was more suited to lawn bowls.

Alot of eels fans express anger through these forums by posting ridiculous coments on individuals rather than the team as a whole, but at the end of the day you guys really need to be expressing your anger by being at the footy and screaming your bitch tits off at the ref or opposition. I know alot of you were there yesterday so this is directed at the ones who were not.

My excuse this week is Parra lost because they didn't have the support of the Crowd![ Maybe we need to lodge an application along with Melbourne for a relocation to the Gold Coast!

I think Wagon played ok yesterday, at least he passed the ball. Vella did well too. There was a lack of playmaker. We really lack players who can be creative at the moment, on occasional break here and there isn't good enough. We're not matching other sides with great attacking footy. Our outside backs, apart from Grothe, can't seem to create anything, perhaps we just don't have the side to do anytihng.

The crowds didn't just suddenly drop off. They've been on a steady decline since 2002 because of a large number of very poor performances such as yesterdays. When the side starts playing with more passion and heart the crowds will come back. Just look at Penrith as an example.
