What about Waterhouse

WATERHOUSE FOR SOO 3.

Look I may be a very one eyed Penrith Supporter, but what does Waterhouse have to do to get a run in SOO. He should start at lock, his current game suits SOO to a tee, and if not a start surely the bench he is a better option than Simpson as well. Come on what to you guys reckon.

He is such a great player and I believe he will become a regular inclusion in the SOO future. I don't have one eye but I do look through Penrith coloured glasses.

It will be interesting to see how Matt Elliott uses Trent. He's done a stellar job in my opinion of the Lock posi. It would be hard to move him back to second-row and give him regular stints warming the bench throughout games.

I was thinking exactly the same thing tonight about Waterhouse.

He should be named for Game 3 - but off the bench.

It would be a just reward for one of the few Penrith players that has had a real dig this year.

Since Rodney got injured Waterhouse has really stepped up. He has filled the massive void that came with Rodney's injury since he probably knew Big T and Pritchard aren't the sort of players to adequatley make up for Rodney's work rate and ethic.

I used to think that Waterhouse was more of an attacking player, than a workhorse. He has shown this year that he can get through a massive workrate in a game.

Personally, however, for Penrith, I believe Waterhouse should be playing as an impact player from the bench, because we are struggling to put points on the board as a team. We need Waterhouse to have fresh legs.

I agree with Artie, that he would not look out of place in the #13 jumper at origin level.

I understand the welfare of the club is a priority I was a little disappointed in gowie for coming back early last game to prove his SOO fitness risking himself for club. But if they are worthy get em out there so get the House out there. and I disagree with Fibro a bit, dont get me wrong house has great attack, however Penrith have gr8 attacking forwards in Puleta and pritchard, and wot we are lacking is the the work horse and if waterhouse has to play that role, be it. we need to be tight up the middle of the ruck and with house on the bench it doesnt aid that area of the game for us

If we manage to sign Jamie Lyon, we may need to seriously think about Galea going to lock. Waterhouse and Puletua in the backrow, with Pritchard and Rude off the bench.

i said the same thing about Glenn morrosin from parra. Very similiar playres that always get overlooked and are better than most playing in origin or Australia.

Its bullsh*t isnt it!!!!!

Nah, Galea and Rodney are both better suited at lock IMO.

waterhouse has twice as much ability as a player and lock than both players mentioned. however thats pretty obvious the selectors have seen it in the past I just hope they see it again.

Sadly Waterhouse, the boy who came from Emu Plains and forced himself into the Panthers team back in 2002 will prolly not play Origin footy again. Makes you mistified when they keep on picking guys like Wing who have simply done well in the past but are way past the used by date. When was the last time Wing had a man of the match game, 2003???

Trent is suffering from the lack of form shown by the Panthers.

If the Panthers were in the top 4 and Trent was fit and in form he would certainly be strongly considered by NSW selectors.
