A new burger joint opened up right out front of my school. Tried their bacon cheeseburger. It didn't have any bacon, but was otherwise good.

Had a weird day of eating today

Firstly I had some ice cream where they create the ice cream by pouring liquid nitrogen on it.

Then I tried a burger place where I had the "Dutch Oven". Beef and bacon, and yes it did have the bacon.

That was my thought as well at first.

It's called Nitrogenie, in Noosa, QLD.

They create the mixture then pour liquid nitrogen on it (they have a massive tank just sitting there). Because the nitrogen freezes it so much quicker it doesn't have time to form ice particles so it has a very smooth texture, almost like really thick yoghurt.

I think tonight holds all you can eat teppenyaki, but we'll see how the girlfriend feels.
