Just been sitting back refreshing courtsey of that great endless pitt of $$$$$$ the taddies, ROFLOL. It will pay off for us too. we get a fresh rested expierenced winner of a coach. The taddies get a stressed overcomitted control freak who is still very green despite his success. Alls-good.

Game b4 the GF 2yrs in a row, with SUPPOSEDLY the best roster in the world, and youve failed dismally. Add to that 28yrs since you won a 1st grade title, and youve got your answer.

Id say last year was a choke, but in saying that we weren't playing well in the last 2 games of that year. This year we came 6th and were beaten by the team who cleaned us up all year and won the minor premiership in a canter. Thats not choking, choking is losing from a winning position. Its not rocket science dipsh*t.

Yep we came 2nd last this year. Each year 3 things are remembered the 2 teams in the GF and who ate wood. In my view the rest of us all made up the numbers.

With respect, I think you may be reading a little too much into it. All players 'want' to win. I doubt very much they genuinely think they 'should' win the premiership.

I don't ever recall Browny (or any of the players) talking it up as if they had some claim on victory before the ball was even kicked off.

I do recall a few standard comments in the media, and a couple of tactful answers when they were asked about dumb media comments from opposition players. Perhaps you missed those reports.
