Planning my Broncos 2010 Premiership party.
Watching the Dogs and Eels struggle.
The continuing good form of Darren Lockyer.
The feeling that, despite all the bulldust, the code is on the up and up.

See i don't believe that.

The fact that you post, so regularly, on a NRL forum would suggest there's something you love about the game as no one would go around making thousands of posts on something they don't like at all.

Besides, im sure you love your team, and love following them and hoping they'll win the next game. ( well not the one this Monday against Parra :p, but you get my drift).

1. The mighty Dragons are playing tough and are on the top of the ladder where they belong.
2. The game itself is still a great spectacle.
3. The passion shown by supporters.
4. Every year we see another batch of new & exciting young players coming through.

The game itself,

What i love most about the NRL right now is what i've always loved most, the Canberra Raiders. Win lose or draw, knowing the next week or season brings new hope and new optimism of a good result and at worst, its another chance to indulge in my greatest passion.
Losses suck, but buggered if i know what id do with myself if i didnt have the Raiders to cheer on and even if we're smashed off the park, its the highlight of my week to support the Raiders.

nice post dude, I feel the same about Newcastle. There purely isn't another team that I can or ever will be able to support as much as I do Newcastle. I just wish they won more :( haha

I'd love to have the confidence that Dragons and Panthers fans have atm. Can't believe Penrith have turned it around so well after their crap exit to the season last year!
Panthers fans are happy with where we are at the moment, but I don't think any of us are all that confident as yet. We still need another 4 wins to make the top 8... which seems easy, but with us you never know. :sarcasm:

The Tigers coming through an injury crisis sitting in third.
The Tigers 20's coming first.
BRET coming first and Wests 4th.
Lote buy of the year.
Fifita and Moors.
Daniela's hat trick.

There is a lot to like about being a Tigers fan right now. Rare as hens teeth.

My team have been smashed by injuries, but are still somehow on the edge of the 8. The most impressive thing for me has been the development of so many key future stars for us. Ukuma Ta'ai, Ben Matulino, Russell Packer, Isaac John... I'd even say a guy who was to be for us probably no more than a fringe player in Jeremy Latimore, he's a no frills footballer with no errors in his game at all, just a nice solid player... the continued growth of Lewis Brown, hell, even young Bill Tupou had a shocker against the Tigers but I think he's the type of bloke who'll learn from it. In my mind, irrespective of whether we make the 8, it's been a good season for our long term prospects.

Last year we hardly spread the ball, this year our centres are getting good ball and it's good to see.

Mostly, I'm grateful we haven't had any player tragedies this year, like poor Sonny Fai last year. That was a tragedy that still cuts deep. Ode to how much he would have taken out of a year where he basically would have had to have taken on a senior role...

Outside of the Warriors, I am enjoying watching Akuila Uate go around. Freakish talent. I'm glad to see Penrith rise again. I'm really enjoying the development of Josh Dugan and Matt Gillett. I'm enjoying the karma of Scott Dureau taking an almighty dive last week which was only rivalled by how big a dive his performance took in the game.

And hell, how good was it to have a CLOSE mid-year test match!

I like the current dominance of QLD.

I also like the Broncos ability to keep bringing up great young talent rather than going out on the market as soon as they lose a player.

Great thread Tiger Tim

1. My team will be a part of the real competition and a realistic chance to win that long awaited premiership.
2. The change in culture at our club.
3. Towards the end of my 2 hour commute home on a friday afternoon (when I have the weekend off) driving into the gorgeous Tweed Valley knowing I have my fave beer ready in the fridge and a weekend of footy ahead.
4. Seeing teams that have struggled do well.
5. Watching new rivalries grow and old ones flourish.
6. How Karma has visited a franchise that put $$ and their own selfish needs before the good of the game.
7. Watching the IC coming to fruition.

Seeing the Broncos once again give one to all the critics.

Hands up all those who said Broncos wouldn't make the 8 this year?

...*touch wood*

I love the fact that the Storm are playing for nothing this year

And the fact my team beat the cheating scumbags at full strength :D
