These are going to be souths jerseys next year. First is away and second one is home. The black rabbit on the away jersey symbolises that the rabbits are angry when they away from home. As for the sponsors- Sharp is just what was put on it because it looks sharp. Also the oplayers decided they wanted the skin tight jerseys and no collar. The stripes under the arms down the body are ventilkation stuff. At least it is better than our Penrith away jersey of this year. Also notice there is no emblem like we usually have- we hyave went back to our very first emblem.

We've only wore our away strip once this year and that was against the Raiders. We only clash with the raiders (sort of) and plus if 15 other teams have alternate jerseys we don't need one. :sarcasm: ;-)

I like the home better than away but they both look alright to me.

Wasn't aware that body paint is what new jerseys will be made out of though.

I'm not a big fan of the skin tight style of jerseys, but this is the best I have seen so far. The tattoos and biceps help though.

In a Hutch exclusive, and for those that were unable to attend the Fan Night in person, here are the first internet pictures of our proposed home and away jerseys in 2007.

Goose, my understanding is the skin tight thing is at request of the players. Same for the collar. Any little advantage we can get that would help make our players harder to tackle must be embraced IMO.

As for the side panels, apparently they are necessary as to facilitate the manufacturing of the skin tight version because it's otherwise not possible with our horizontal hooped bar design.

I can live with it, and next year when we things start to improve you aren't going to give a toss about those panels and other subtle improvements and you know it.

Oh, I nearly forgot the big news! The NRL have apparently approved the clubs plans to have a different major sponsor displayed on the home and away jerseys. This innovation would be a rugby league first!

What sponsors they would be we'd have to wait and see – ignore the mock up designs in the examples in the first post. I can't imagine Real Insurance would want to jump ship though – not now.
