I am a Parramatta supporter. 8)

I have not tasted premiership success since 1986.

Forget the Sevens, forget the club championships. :x

I want to party for a week like the teams that have won since then. :)

I am tired of dwelling on past glories.

I am sick of the "it was the coaches fault" brigade.

I am tired of the "coach can do it" brigade.

I don't want to see JessEel cry and I don't want her to support another side. ;-)

I don't want to see players leave.

I want them to achieve all they can and a whole lot more. :D

I want to see tries scored. =D>

I want Jamie to score another five. \\:D/

I want to see Sideshow Bob thrill the crowd. =D>

I want to see Eric in full flight. [-o<

I want to hear the cheer everytime Hindy gets the ball. \\:D/

I want to see the opposition bashed and bruised.

I want Cayless to hit them again.

I want Brian to prove himself. :-#

I want no more injuries. :(

I want Muckert, Muspratt, Pearson and Cannings to play like Dunley, Hopkins and Heckenberg. :D

I want an end to all the excuses. =;

I want 2004 to be the year...... [-(

Why........ :?:

Because I bleed blue and gold....... :-s Why are you here? ;-)

I just want to us competing with the top teams without being blown off the park for a start, then go on from there.

Sanders,

I think you'll find that everybody on this board wants all those things.

They just have different ideas as to how we might achieve them.

I'm with you. I want 2004 to be our year as well. With everybody who is at the club to do everything possible to make it happen.
Including us fans.

Well written mate. :)

Good post Colonel.

I miss the premierships as well (17 years now...)!

But first and foremost I just want us to be competitive, and that means top eight each season (achievable, given it's more than half of the competition).

It means winning more games than we lose (unlike last two years).

It means being a good chance once we make the eight, preferrably getting through the the last four teams (not just making up the numbers).

No team can and ever will match the St George run of premierships, or even our 81-83 treble under the current state of the game (salary caps evening out the spread of talent).

But Parra can (and should) expect to finish top eight each year, and then to go further. And if we achieve that regularly, establish that level of success in the club culture, then premierships will follow.

It starts next year. After the last two years disappointments we are all hungry. Let's get there!

I want 2004.

Looks like we'll have to turn down the passionmeter, kick back and chill for a few months, then the trial games will start and we can get a look at the new guys play.

I can't turn down the passion meter Twizzle.
I'm already anxious for the 2004 season to start.

Why???

Because I don't think we can do any worse than last season. (although statistically, we can).
I can't wait to see a season better than this one. :)

Colonel, I want all of those things too. It is nice to see that others want them as well.for a while I thought I was the only Parra fan to genuinely want to see our team on top as premiers. I genuinely thought that the modern day Parra fan would rather turn up and say 'oh well, at leats they tried hard" than let it be known that, as stakeholders, we demand a hell of a lot better.

Seeing posts like that makes my heart warm as a Parra fan. All of a sudden, others crave it too. To see Little Brother ascent the mountain like an awakening colossus on Sunday has fuelled the emotion.

So let our club know what we want. Let 'em know that, shoulder to shoulder, they have the backing of the greatest supporter base in the NRL in their quest for premiership glory. Let 'em also know the power of the Army they will have to account to if they fail.

I want the ground announcer to become more enthusiastic, rather than be bored stiff

I want Fitzgerald to wake up to himself, and listen to the fans

I want our juniors to be developed and become regular first graders at Parramatta

I dont want to another run of injuries next year.

If Smith doesnt get Parramatta to the top 8 again next year, I want him sacked.

I want Smith to realise that we've letting go Dunley and Heckenberg to Manly, was the worst thing that could happen, Dunley wouldve been our main hooker and Heckenberg wouldve been a good solid prop forward.

I dont want Parra to sign anymore reject reserve graders from other clubs and let go the youngsters that can prove themselves in PL.

I want to win a premiership :)

Good call Suity.......................its easy to say but hard to do.

If I could do it, I would not be visiting this forum at least 4 times a day, instead of getting work done.

I just want Parra to do the best they can for the whole year and if that means getting the Premiership - then it does. And if their best is just getting in the finals, im happy with that - better than what they achieved this season.

And another thing i want to see is Luke Burt back out there playing his best... Gah... I miss seeing the guy running out there....

I want a Premiership.

And remember that GREAT feeling in 2001, like you knew the team's defense and attack was so good you could sit back and relax and enjoy the game? Remember the respect and admiration EVERY commentator and EVERY team had for us in 2001? I WANT THAT.
