always been interested in primal, decent enough?

6 holds no appeal to me, which is weird as I loved 5
Primal is fine if you really like the Far Cry gameplay loop, a bit short and they could have done a lot more with the premise than they did. A lot better prospect these days considering you could get it for cheap rather than the full price they tried to flog it for on launch.

FC6 was fine, really just a rinse and repeat, the new weapons and matching gear was a bit much I thought

Anyone know how Death Standing goes? Want to give it it a try and it’s on the PS+ Editor’s choice.

I like it, but it can be an absolute grind - Cutscenes are ridiculously long and the missions can be tedious as f**k, but I enjoy the premise and it opens up a lot if you can make it past the first couple of hours of play

Just bought Sons of the Forest 2, and hoping that will be enjoyable. I liked the first one.

RoadCraft. Go around in trucks repairing roads, delivering items, laying power cables, over uneven muddy, broken, flooded roads. Very slow and tedious and sometimes frustrating as Hell.
But there is a sense of accomplishment after completing tasks. Kind of addictive.
Much better playing with a friend or two.

Is there like a smoko quick time event where you have to eat your lunch like cooking with mama before the timer runs out?

I am getting around to Kingdom come deliverance 2. Playing it on Xbox. Enjoying it so far but I don't know if I am just getting old or if the combat/lockpicking system was designed for PC and didn't port well to Xbox but I absolutely suck at both

I played on PS5.

Pretty sure the game is intended to have a heap of friction and deliberately clunky as f**k.

Once you get your head around it, it gets pretty good.

I fell off it after a heap of hours but loved it up until that point.

As Munky said I'm pretty sure the combat in particular was meant to be more realistic aka clunky and difficult.

I've watched a couple of playthroughs of both KCD1 & 2, one of the funniest game series in existence.

As others have said it's deliberate. Once you get the hang of it though it becomes a little less cumbersome. Youtube tutorials are your friend and spend the time with Master Tomcat in the Nomad camp.
