If there playing the poms they will not get to tired . The soap dodgers need ten wicket keepers to catch one ball

I love questions like that, sometimes they might get one of the other 11 to act as wickey and use a substitute fielder, but as wickey is a fielding position I guess they can put a substitute there

The 12th man may not field in a catching position. Keeping, slips, etc.

Australia - Langer, I guess Ponting and Hussey could do it also
England - John Crawley used to be a pretty useful backup when he was playing...among the current crop, Trescothick would do it normally, now though I'm not sure.
New Zealand - Sinclair
South Africa - A.B. de Villiers
West Indies - Wavell Hinds if he was playing, otherwise maybe Chanderpaul/Lara dunno really, Jimmy Adams used to keep in Ridley Jacobs' absence
Bangladesh - dunno
Zimbabwe - They've got a few..Taylor, and a coupla others...dont know their names though
India - Dravid, although recently they've played both Dinesh Karthik and Dhoni in their ODI team
Pakistan - Younis Khan, and Shoaib Malik has been practising to improve his already solid all-round game
Sri Lanka - then only side that can do it EASY...Sangakkara, Dilshan, Tharanga all pretty accomplished keepers.

Why can't the 12th man field in the slips...

He can keep wicket if he wants to...just not have any gloves/pads I guess..

I thought they changed that (stupid) law of the game anyways...

I could be wrong though.

its in the rules, but basically the 12th man is not supposed the influence the game or a wicket

he is not allowed to field in a catching position, but every position is a catching position

I do remember once watching a WA game and their wicketkeeper went down and Hussey ended up keeping for them and doing a good job of it. So if Gilly went down I'd say they put Hussey in [well that's who I'd want]
